Paraguay: SNT strengthens its workflow with SI Media

SI Media continues to strengthen its presence in Latin America with a strategic deployment for SNT Paraguay (Sistema Nacional de Televisión), one of the country’s leading broadcasters.

As part of its technological modernization process, SNT adopted an integrated SI Media solution designed to optimize the complete content management workflow, from ingest and contribution of audiovisual material to centralized asset management and on-air playout operations.

The solution includes YES!MAM, which enables efficient management of the entire content lifecycle, from file acquisition and organization to availability for production, editing, and distribution.

The ingest and contribution environment facilitates the incorporation of content from multiple sources, ensuring traceability, control, and fast access to media assets across all stages of the workflow.

Additionally, SNT implemented an automation system for Master Control Room playout, enabling precise and reliable channel operations with high levels of operational accuracy and service continuity.

SNT selected a platform that supports the broadcaster with an end-to-end workflow management.

At the same time, the platform adopted by the Customer includes dedicated integrations with third-party systems and devices, such as GBLabs as a central disk archive, ROSS XPression as a graphics system, MSA Focus as a BMS, a central Audio/Video switcher, and IBM TLO as a deep archive. In this scenario, YES! acts as an orchestrator of the several actors involved in the SNT ecosystem.

In detail, YES! back-end microservices are running on HPE ProLiant DL360 and DL380 Gen11 servers: deployed in Docker containers on Linux Ubuntu O.S.

Operators use a single web UI to control all licensed features; any limitations by user or user group are managed through the user’s rights policies managed in YES!

Base-Band Recording, MCR and PCR\Studio Playout are performed by SI Media Channel-in-a-Box (product name FRIDA) controlled by YES!Automation services.
