Albavisión Guatemala selected SI Media’s YES!NEWSROOM integrated news system to modernize and optimize the operation of its news network, which delivers content across multiple television channels in the country.
The solution integrates an advanced newsroom environment that enables centralized management of the entire editorial workflow: from content planning and assignment to rundown creation, production tracking, and publication of news programs across its broadcast signals, as well as distribution channels such as social media and digital platforms.
The platform provides full traceability throughout the journalistic process, facilitating collaboration between journalists, producers, and technical teams, ensuring editorial consistency, operational speed, and control at every stage of the content lifecycle.
YES!MAM optimizes audiovisual file management from ingest and cataloging to organization, search, and delivery of content for post-production and playout.
This integrated workflow creates an agile and scalable environment that significantly improves operational efficiency, reduces production time, and strengthens the ability to deliver news content in a multiplatform environment.
Through this adoption, Albavisión Guatemala now benefits from a robust technological infrastructure, designed to meet the evolving demands of modern news production and real-time content distribution.
In detail, the platform deployed at Albavision (Guatemala) includes six Base-Band recorder channels and four PCR\Studio playouts, each one configured in A-B mode with its own 1:1 backup.
HPE DL360 and DL380 Gen11 servers equipped with MATROX DSX LE4 SDI I\O cards have been selected as hardware platforms.
On top of that, the complete YES!News platform is used by several teams of journalists to create and manage the daily bulletins aired controlled by YES!StudioPlayer suite.
