One of the main goals always chased by SI Media, has been to improve and complete the product portfolio through research and development and also through partnerships and cooperation with third-party brands. In this regard, SI Media has established with Adobe Premiere Pro close and fruitful integration during the last year.
SI Media developed an ActiveX, to be used starting from CS6-CC versions of Adobe Premiere Pro, allowing the NLE operator full access to MediaStore Client features (the client application of SI Media MediaAssetManagement) from the Adobe interface.
Thanks to this, from a single interface (so without having to jump from Adobe to MediaStore Client), the video editor can browse the asset archive, see the preview of the contents and the bookmarks, create a project and edit it in high-res, all in the same page.
For sure it is another huge step to improve the inter-connectivity of SI Media Digital Newsroom Computer System, guaranteeing a highly integrated platform from ingest to delivery of content, without discontinuity points.
The screenshot below shows a view of the integrated interface. The editor can see the asset archive on the left, can use the search engine, open a basket and expand the timeline (see on the below right corner), browse the preview both in high and low resolution, recovering also the information about the bookmarks.
This active plug-in has been successfully installed at several customer sites during the last period, allowing the maximum level of integration in the content workflow.
