YES!Player is very flexible and can be easily adapted and configured to run stand-alone (channels-in-a-box) or to control all major branded video servers made by well-known global brands such as Harmonic and Grass Valley.

It can also control, through YES!DeviceManager several types of devices like audio/video routers, master control switchers, graphics and character generators, logo generators, GPI/GPO devices, aspect ratio converters and many others.

Furthermore, YES!Player performs last second changes in the playlist while on air: the operator, using a dedicated toolbar, can skip the current event to the next event, insert or delete programs on-the-fly, edit the clips (cut-cut), change the playlist order and change or add graphics projects. All the commands are executable by configurable shortcuts.

As a key role of the automation system in broadcast workflow, YES!Player has several Main / Backup configurations: the backup, available in 1:1 (clone backup) or n:m (cold backup), guarantees 24/7 continuity in any case of failure. The bumper (filler) insertion is automatic and configurable from YES!Traffic.
